Tropical Sol Aparthotel - Albufeira

Nice hotel with its friendly staff, outdoor swimming pool, and poolside snack bar. They even helped care for my elderly parents during our first visit. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape!

Location, tranquility, magnificent bedroom beds...

The sofa bed in the living room was not at all comfortable! The living room as a bedroom was not conditioned as much light entered through the window to lack of double curtain... There was no coffee pot.

Peace all around for rest

we didnt hotel receptionist was arrogant paid 900 for a crap room studio but on booking i paid for a apartment never again !

The swimming pool with its mattresses as well as the children's pool. Possibility of eating in the room, kitchen equipped with microwave, water heater, cutlery, toaster, air conditioning, all very clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. A nearby supermarket and breakfast bar

The center is fifteen minutes walk away.

Should you go for it? My answer

The location is superb, just a five-minute stroll to The Strip and 15 minutes to the Old Town. The spacious apartments aresuper clean and cozy with lovely pool views. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Don't miss the poolside snack bar for delicious, reasonably priced food! A hidden gem for those who enjoy walking!

Nice modern reception area, fine size rooms although getting a bit dated, need new pillows, staff very friendly and helpful breakfast good value.

problem with the pool children getting sore feet best to wear socks or pool shoes

Location really close to the Tropical Sol, the Pingo Doce supermarket and cafes, bars restaurants and the Pingo Doce supermarket. Lovely pool onsite, well-equipped room with full fridge, a table and chairs, for example. Excellent service, extremely helpful staff during stay.

The Tropical Sol Aparthotel was pretty good with its spacious rooms and inviting atmosphere. The pool facilities were fantastic for kids, and the staff were warm and cute.

Tropical Sol was very clean, comfortable and well presented. The pool area was maintained to a high standard. Parents can relax by the pool knowing it is a safe and secure area for young children to play as it is enclosed by very high perimiter fencing. It is close to the beach, resturants and the ' Strip' but far enough so as not to be affected by the late night bars and clubs. Old Town Albuferia is approximatley 30 minutes walking distance.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was right over the bar and because we had children I asked to be moved. No room was available but I was assured that the bar was very quiet, which it was, no noise at all! Pool was nice. All public areas were modern.

The 2 bed apt we had was in serious need of upgrading & after seeing the public areas there was no way you would be anything other than disappionted. With accomodation so readily available they need to upgrade.

The one-bedroom apartment we had was spacious and offered a lovely view over the pool.

Almost everything.very clean and comfortable.only complaint was sometimes a lack of loungers around pool.
